The ‘governator’ discusses with graduates his ‘golden rules’ to leading a successful life and career. These rules can be applied to anything in life, including bodybuilding itself, and show the drive behind a man who has accomplished each and every task he set out to achieve when he burst onto the bodybuilding scene over 40 years ago.

A little known fact, bodybuilding trainer Joe Weider revealed that Arnold informed him he wanted to succeed in bodybuilding, acting and politics when he first arrived at Weider’s training gym at the start of his career. Since then, he’s seen him go onto achieve each goal systematically and without failure.

Arnold also shares his experiences of starting out in the acting industry and being told that his accent would hold him back, and how he eventually turned that very same accent into a huge asset which he is now known worldwide for, as opposed to letting it hold him back like “the naysayers” told him to.
